Our software development life cycle involves – AGILE methodology or Waterfall methodology where each project follows Requirement gathering, Question/Answering, Scope of work, Budgeting and Approval.

How do you ensure the security and confidentiality of my business data during the development process?
All our employees have signed NDA with us to ensure the confidentiality and security of our clients and clients’ data. We, also sign NDA with clients if the client requires it.
What is your approach to project management and communication? How frequently will I receive updates on the progress of my project?
For communication, we use Slack, Skype and Email for effective and timely updates. We work in Indian standard time from 11 am IST to 8 pm IST where our developer/Project manager will update you daily basis. Also, for any emergency or any specific discussions our PM or BDM remains available for you.
For Project Management, we follow Agile/Waterfall SDLC depending on project type and size, and we use Trello and an internal tool to manage all the projects.

What is your pricing structure? How do you handle changes in project scope or additional feature requests?
Depends on project size and type. In waterfall we provide a fixed cost budget with milestone breakdown and in Agile – scrum we go on an hourly basis.
Regarding project scope change and additional feature requests: We entertain such changes based on the size of the change, if it’s small and infrequent we gladly do it, however, if it is a major or recurring small change, we discuss it with the client
What is your post-development support and maintenance policy?
To ensure the long-term success and optimal performance of your website/project, we provide 3 months of free support for our delivered work.
How do you handle intellectual property rights? Will I have full ownership of the software developed for my business?
Yes, you will have full ownership and copyrights for the software/website developed for your business.
Are there any potential limitations or dependencies that may affect the scalability or future enhancements of the software?
We aim to build robust and scalable solutions that can accommodate your growing needs. However, limitations or dependencies for any project rely on project requirements, Third-party APIs, libraries support, load balancing, communication support, etc. so whenever a project is discussed crucial dependencies are also discussed and acknowledged in our Terms & Conditions.
How fast is VKAPS turn around time on an average MVP project? Because the same fee could take 6 months with one company and 4 months with another.
Generally, If we go on waterfall method i.e. a fixed cost project. We share a rough timeline via requirement gathering process. Timelines vary as per the resources allocation and complexity of the project or documentation by client. Normally in fixed cost projects, we try to accomplish MVP product in 3 months but if client wants to wrap up fast we increase resources on hourly basis.
What will VKAPS do with the original code base of the MVP?
We will hand over the original code base to you as per the terms outlined in the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). We won’t use the original code base other than the development, maintenance, and enhancement of your MVP. The code will be stored securely on our server code repository that ensures controlled access only to authorized team members involved in the development and maintenance of the MVP to prevent unauthorized access or leakage of the code base. Also, upon request, we hard delete the code from our servers and the developer’s local machine.
